Staying onboard a houseboat on the calm waters of the Grand Canal is a unique short break experience. The Barge was built in 1999 and was made for living. Everything you need is provided!

The Roisin Dubh is a great base for exploring Ireland's Ancient East or day tripping to Dublin.

The space

You enter into the Wheelhouse. To the left is the aft cabin and the stairs down on the right take you into the Kitchen/Living area. The master bedroom is in the bow cabin and in between is the bathroom.

The master cabin in the bow of the barge is spacious and has a comfortable Queen size double bed. The aft cabin has a double bed and the main living area has a double sofa bed.

It has central heating, a wood burning stove and is equipped with all you need for self catering. The basics - tea/coffee/salt/pepper etc are supplied.

The barge is all yours for the duration of your stay.
